KARATE - It's Not What We DoJune 2014
As someone who enjoys the study and practice of Karate, I constantly look to find areas to apply this knowledge to in my daily life, as well as looking for other applicable knowledge to apply to Karate.
A while back my sister gave me a small plaque which reminded her of something that I once said about my attitude towards Music, which is another art form that is personal and also of value to me.
The plaque has the word "MUSIC" on the top.
In the middle there is a little plastic guitar.
At the bottom it says "is not what I do; it's who I am."
I know that I am preaching to the choir, but I also know that there isn't anyone in the dojo that doesn't have that same attitude towards their own study of Karate, and would also apply that saying to their own personal journey in the study of Karate here at the Takahashi Dojo.
"Karate - It's not what we do, it's who we are." OSSS!!Back
